NIT Championship: Dayton Wins!
In a game that the North Carolina Tar Heels did not belong in the Dayton Flyers win the 2010 NIT Championship. Dayton was actually favored to win the game by 3 point. The posted total for the game was 139 points. The total for the game actually had opened up at 136 points at most online Sportsbooks. Dayton pretty much dominated the entire game.

When looking back at how North Carolina made it to the NIT Championship they were very lucky. It also proved so since Dayton led almost the entire game. North Carolina did beat some good opponents making it to the final game but if you look back at how they won you would of bet against them tonight. Dayton also beat some quality opponents but unlike North Carolina this Dayton team was here to win.
Dayton was extremely solid defensively through out the NIT tournament including the NIT Championship game. We all know that defense wins championships. You might just want to take a lesson from this game and bet Butler in the 2010 Final Four game. Butler has also played extremely good defensively through the 201 NCAA basketball tournament. Butler is currently favored by 1 point in the NCAA Final Four game against Michigan State just like Dayton was favored in the 2010 NIT Championship game.

Jim Joyce-Controversial Call

James A. Joyce III was born October 3, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio.He is an umpire in Major League Baseball who has worked in the American League (AL) from 1987 to 1999 and throughout both major leagues since 2000. In Green State University,he had attended bowling. He wears uniform number 66 while he wore a uniform numbered 6 in the American League). he was  similarly like to that of now-retired umpire Bruce Froemming whose  strike call is extremely loud and enthusiastic,.

Joyce has umpired the following: All-Star Game (1994 and 2001), the Division Series (1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2003), the League Championship Series (1997, 2004, 2006), and theWorld Series (1999 and 2001). After graduating from Bowling Green State University in 1977, he umpired in the Midwest League (1978-1979), the Florida Instructional League (1978), theTexas League (1980), the Pacific Coast League (1981-1986, 1988), the International League (1987), and the Dominican League (1983).

when Nolan Ryan recorded his 5,000th career strikeout ,Joyce was the second base umpire and was the first base umpire when Robin Yount reached his 3,000th hit.

Controversial call

 Joyce made a controversial call at first base on June 2, 2010, ruling baserunner Jason Donald of the Cleveland Indians safe. Had the call gone the other way, pitcher Armando Galarraga of the Detroit Tigers would have completed a perfect game,who had retired the previous 26 Indians batters without allowing a single base runner.It was shown in the replays that the call was incorrect, and that Donald had in fact been out at first.

"The Tigers' fans have been cheated out of the greatest pitching experience in Tiger history."said Tigers' color commentators. Joyce had  spoken with the media following the game and admitted he had  committed a mistake:James stated that "I just cost the kid a perfect game. I thought he beat the throw. I was convinced he beat the throw until I saw the replay. It was the biggest call of my career." Joyce apologized to Galarraga following the game after he saw the replay. A perfect game by Galarraga would have set a Major League record of three perfect games in twenty-three days.
So whatever it is,we really coommit mistakes that would twist most of our lives events.

hanging out with the family is best during mothers day.As a youth who is very busy doing many things,i find it necessary to have a break.Mothers day is the best one.The following are the best hang out place i thought:

Hubble Telescope and the Hubble Images

Have you ever wonder what the view of the vast universe?What about the stars that light up in the sky,have you ever ask yourself how and what's happening with in it? NASA has released a recent image that shows a star factory in actionIt was the  Hubble telescope marks two decades in space this month, where it has captured stunning images of the Carina nebula  that have had a profound effect on our understanding of the universe.
New York University Paul Delaney said the image of the Carina nebula, one of the largest star formation regions that exists, captures "the wonderful interplay between dust, gas and stellar embryos."
Although the way stars are formed has been known for some time, there was no way to get a front-row view of the action until Hubble.
Delaney told CTV News Channel this week "Hubble has been able to peel aside some of the veils which have always annoyed astronomers and gotten right into the deepest parts of star formation areas," .
"It's a vindication of the stellar evolutionary theories, and that's really what Hubble has been about," he said. "It has been able to confirm, deny and advance the theories of astrophysics in such a wonderfully pictorial way."

In another photo of deep space taken by Hubble with an exposure of one million seconds, or four and a half days, nearly 10,000 galaxies are visible, Delaney added. Some of the galaxies are younger than one billion years old, which means the image allows scientists to see back 12 million years in time.
Hubble looks through many different filters -- including ultraviolet and infrared ones -- to capture "the full breadth and beauty of the image," Delaney explained.
Aside from being admired for their beauty, the images Hubble has captured have also proved useful. They have helped scientists determine the age of the universe and how planets form -- and has even supported the idea that there is a mysterious form of dark energy in the universe, holding everything together.
But the clarity of the images used to be a lot worse.
When Hubble was first launched into orbit on the space shuttle Discovery on April 24, 1990, the initial images it captured were distorted due to an improperly ground mirror. In 1993, corrective lenses were installed on the telescope by astronauts to fix the problem.
Also, the technology of the telescope has been updated and maintained over the years through five servicing missions, each of which has increased its power. On the last Hubble servicing mission in May 2009, it was made 100 times more powerful than when it was launched.
Earlier this year, the telescope captured images of Pluto that surprised colour astronomers -- the planet's colours were changing and its ice sheets shifting.
Over the years, Hubble has looked at more than 300,000 celestial objects and built an archive of more than 500,000 images, according to NASA.
Hubble, named after astronomer Edwin Hubble, is the first major optical telescope to be placed in space, a location that affords it an unobstructed view of the universe.
The telescope is about 13 metres long and does not travel to any of the celestial objects it captures images of. It orbits the Earth at a height of about 570 kilometres.
Hubble will eventually be replaced by its successor, the larger James Webb space telescope. The Webb has a planned 2014 launch date. The Webb has a much larger mirror than that in the Hubble space telescope, and means that the Webb will be able to look farther into space.

Sun Burn in My Face

We were assigned to agriculture department of Dole Philippines incorporated.We were assigned to farm operations.Its really hot and head breaking job.Imagine we were under the heat of the sun for almost eight hours...it's really hard for me at first but i was able to manage it.I really hate the sunburn on my skin.It's irritating,very painful.i felt my skin cracks...my skin darkens especially my face that is always exposed to the dangerous rays of the sun.I applied sunblock to protect my skin from sunburn and to avoid further damage...I wash my face with cld water just to ease the pain and the hotness.I feel water were evaporating from my body.It's hard for me to sleep at night...

that is why i would like to suggest you to cover your skin and use sunblock cream.
